Terms and Conditions

2. Payment by check or money order is payable to “Scott A. Shaulis”. Orders paid by a personal check may be held until the check clears the bank. I also accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards.

3. If you are a member of the American Philatelic Society (APS), please provide your APS number. In some cases, orders by members in good standing of the APS may be expedited instead of waiting for a personal check to clear the bank. If you’re not an APS member, may I send you a membership application?

4. I accept layaways for any order of $100 or more. The terms are as follows: 33% of the total cost (including shipping and insurance costs, see table below) is due with your order. The next 33% is due within thirty (30) days of receipt of your original order. The final payment of 34% is due within sixty (60) days of receipt of your original order.

5. Any item ordered is returnable for a refund in full within seven (7) days of receipt provided it is returned in the same condition that it was sent to you. You do not need to offer a reason for any return.

6. If you wish to obtain a certificate of expertization on any item, you must notify me of your intention to do so within seven (7) days of receipt of the material. If the certificate differs from the item as I’ve described it, you are entitled to a full refund upon return of the item. The item must be returned in the same condition that it was sent to you.

7. Please add the following amount to each order for shipping and insurance: Orders up to $50, add $1.00. There is no shipping fee on orders over $50.

8. Pricelists as published are generally valid for ninety (90) days or until superceded by publication of the next pricelist.Typically: March 1, June 1, Sept 1, and Dec 1.

9. A refund or credit voucher will be given for any item which is not in stock.

10. PA Residents must add 6% sales tax.

11. I do not share personal information with outside sources. All names, addresses, email addresses and order history are completely confidential. If you provide an email address or phone number, this may expedite the process if I have any questions or concerns about an order.

12. Do you collect something I don't have listed? I have boxes of unsorted material. If you don't see something you're looking for on my pricelist, let me know and I'll see what I can do to locate the material you are looking for.

13. Photocopies of any six (6) items are available for 10¢ plus a SASE. If you have the ability to accepted scanned computer images in your email, I will scan the requested items for you at no cost and send them to your email address.

14. Refer a friend. If you refer a fellow collector who orders $20 or more of material on their first order, I'll send you a credit voucher for $2 off your next order. If they order $50 or more of material on their first order, I'll send you a credit voucher for $5 off your next order.
